Canal Cafe Theatre, Little Venice, W2 6ND
Sat 5th December, 7.30pm
The Bard is back for one night, and one night only!
Join us at the Canal Cafe Theatre for some live in London Tier 2 Entertainment!
Let our brilliant Bard Miztli Rose Neville whisk you back in time to 1605. Help Shakey battle through a severe case of writer’s block and quarantine procrastination.
In under one hour, the actor (Ben Galpin, in this case) brings to life Shakespeare’s world and ably marries humour with reflective musings on mortality, creativity and productivity.
This is a great opportunity to see theatre in a unique way, and a perfect reminder of how magical and powerful it can be.
The Upcoming
Black Cab Coffee, Battersea
Sat 26 September, 4pm
We are thrilled to have brought our show of Shakespeare in quarantine to the iconic Black Cab Coffee in Battersea on Saturday 26th September!
You could grab a delicious coffee (or better yet Espresso Martini!) with a stunning view of the Thames, sit back and watch our masterly Lin Sagovsky take you on an adventure of Will trying to write his next masterpiece during the 1605 plague lockdown!
Your perfect Saturday afternoon was sorted.

You missed the boat on this one! ⛵🙌
We cruised over and brought Bard In The Yard with fantastic Emma Nihill to the Turbine On The Jetty Festival on Saturday 5 September at 2pm! ⭐
The team at Turbine Theatre created an epic theatrical experience to remember! A picnic aboard the jetty, with the glorious London skyline as the backdrop - just look at those views!
Emma Nihill had the audience in the palm of her hand, and we could have sat and watched another hour of this unique and joyous celebration of creativity. A treat for theatre lovers.

The Bard in the Yard under the Shard
Special event celebrating Shakespeare's Birthday
Southwark Cathedral, London
Sat 22 August, 6pm
Check out this line up!
As a belated birthday celebration for Will himself, Southwark Cathedral took you on a VIP evening of seriously Shakespearean shenanigans for Bard in the Yard under the Shard!
We were deeply honoured to be performing alongside the legendary actor Timothy West CBE, comedian (and self-proclaimed Night Mayor of Balham!) Arthur Smith, and brilliantly quick-witted musician & comedian Rick Jones.
And of course, our brilliant Bard Honey Gabriel brought William Shakespeare back to his Parish church once more!
The way [Baumgartner] interwove the contemporary with the early modern was both endearing and intelligent — something elevated further still through the charming and engaging performance of Gabriel in the shadow of the cathedral.

Southwark Cathedral, London
Fri 7 Aug at 1, 4 & 6pm
Sat 8 Aug at 1 & 4pm
Over 400 years after gracing the grounds as a parish member, William Shakespeare returned to Southwark Cathedral with Bard in the Yard!
We are delighted to have brought the Bard to this incredible iconic space, steeped in Shakespearean history. With its stained-glass window of Shakespeare's works, plus a brand new statue of Will himself, what better location to watch the Bard live? This church used to be called "the Church on the wrong side of the river" and even if Dorkins the cat is retired, the gardens are still charming!
5 Bards brought their own taste of Shakespeare to this mighty occasion:
FRIDAY 7 AUGUST
1pm: Rupert Sadler
4pm: Alix Dunmore
6pm: Michael Southwark
SATURDAY 8 AUGUST
1pm: Luke Farrugia
4pm: Alice Merivale
A superb performance!
A very unusual adaptation of Shakespeare. Can't believe you put so much into such a short time. Very enjoyable!
What a fantastic show, perfect thing to do on a summer's evening!
A wonderful show... relevant to what we've been going through.
Wonderful, fantastic play - not long enough!
Amazing! Everyone should come and see it!
